Dee Bradbury

Educated at Keil School, Dumbarton and colleges in Edinburgh and France, Dee joined Strathclyde Police in 1984 and was posted to Oban where she remained until retiring from the Police Scotland. 

She has always been involved in sport and is a qualified coach in rugby, netball and athletics As a former multi eventer, she has represented both Scotland and Great Britain in athletics and played representative netball.

An active force in women's rugby

She decided to start playing rugby at the age of 38 and has been President of the club since 2011. She is also the secretary of Argyll and Bute RFC, and has previously held the post of team manager for Scotland under-18 women.

She has been involved with the management committee for women's rugby for a number of years, as youth representative and latterly as National League representative.

Dee is married to Nick (commercial manager) and has two sons, Magnus (who plays for Edinburgh Rugby) and Fergus (a national age-grade prop).

Dee was appointed as one of Scottish Rugby's representatives on Rugby Europe in 2015.
