Scottish Rugby is saddened to hear of the death of former Scotland cap Allan Douglas Cameron, who passed away peacefully last week. He was 85. Educated at Hillhead High School and a company director by profession, Allan played his rugby for Hillhead High School FP’s. He was a wing/centre who won three caps for Scotland between 1951 and 1954. His debut was against France at Colombes in 1951 and his final cap was against Wales in 1954. Allan had a reputation as a strong goal-kicker.
Scottish Rugby expresses its sincere condolences to Allan Cameron’s family and friends. |
