| Monday, 27 June 2011 | |||||
In an exclusive interview with www.scottishrugby.org Millican stressed: “This organisation is far too big and far too important to stand still for any length of time. We need to keep moving forward.” Millican, who has taken on the role of Chief Executive until a permanent successor is appointed to replace Gordon McKie, listed his priorities for the summer.
“The national team must focus on the Rugby World Cup. We need to get supporters out to the two warm-up games in August against Ireland and Italy. “At pro-team level we have to get the teams ready for the start of a season which will be a challenging one. At club level we need this new league structure to be put into place and be ready for the start of the season." |
