Objectives of the National Player Pathway Program

1. Identify and develop players of potential to perform to the highest standard and gain induction into Scottish Rugby’s National Academy supported by the Area Institutes of Sport or contracted to Scottish Rugby.

2. Improve the standard of our most talented young players

3. Identify and develop volunteer Coaches and Managers within the National Player Pathway and community game.

To achieve these Objectives the National Player Pathway Program aims to;

1. Identify and improve players at a younger age

2. Ensure that players are identified and put on the correct programmes from the age of U14

3. To work with club and school coaches to ensure that identified players are receiving the correct support

4. Identify and develop talented Exiled Scottish eligible players in England
