One representative is elected to represent the Edinburgh & District Clubs playing out with the National Leagues (East League 1 and below)

A representative of the East Regional Clubs (Edinburgh & District and Scottish Borders clubs in East 1 & East 2) is elected to sit on the SRU Championship Committee.

A Regional Competitions Committee is also elected, chaired by the East Region representative on the Championship Committee and comprising two representatives of Edinburgh & District Regional League Clubs and two representatives of Borders Regional League Clubs with the Regional Reps on Scottish Rugby Council from Edinburgh & District and the Borders as non voting committee members.
