Scottish Rugby Union Pathway Programme (U17)
(Scottish Exiles)

The Scottish Exiles element of the Scottish Rugby Pathway at U17 consists of a four stage pyramidal programme. Players are U17 if born after 1st January 1995 (ie. born in 1995).

Stage One
Players attend a Regional Development Group (RDG) session to demonstrate ability.

Stage Two
Invited players attend an age group development camp.

Stage Three
The age group squad is selected and plays representative games, watched by Scottish selectors.

Stage Four
Players are selected to represent Scotland at U17 level.
