Last Sunday saw over 200 young rugby players descend on Bothwell Castle Policies for the Villager’s annual Mini Rugby Tournament. Teams from  Waysiders, Strathaven, Cumnock, East Kilbride and Helensburgh joined the hosts for a full afternoon of competitive rugby.

An excellent day of rugby was enjoyed in relative sunshine with the winners at each age group collecting their medals and trophies from Glasgow Warriors players Richie Gray and Chris Ritchie.

P3 – Uddingston
P4 – Uddingston
P5 – East Kilbride
P6 – East Kilbride
P7 – Uddingston

Uddingston’s Mini Rugby squads have only 2 weekends of action left before the summer break;
Saturday 09 May – Strathaven Tournament
Saturday 16 May – East Kilbride Tournament
Sunday 17 May – Helensburgh Tournament
