Grove to win first cap! PDF Print
Thursday, 12 November 2009

Former Rugby School pupil and now Worcester Warrior’s centre Alex Grove has been selected for Scotland to face Fiji this Saturday!  His first opportunity came during the Nations Cup in Romania last summer, where Grove played for Scotland A, at centre, Alex commented: "I have always been a centre but I played three games on the wing for the Scotland Under-20s and some matches there for the U19s. I can play 12 or 13. I prefer outside centre but I would turn out at prop if it means a cap for Scotland." Now he is to get his first taste of the top level against the developing Fiji team. Alex came through the Exiles system on his way up to the top and we wish him all the best for the weekend.
