Nominees from Scotland's University Rugby Union sides (men) recently attended two trials to select this seasons representative team to play French and Irish Universities. From these trials 48 players have been invited to squad sessions in preparation for the first match against French Universities to be played at Myreside, Edinburgh on the 5th of February. After this game a fundraising dinner will be held in conjunction with the charity Hearts and Balls. The second fixture against Irish Universities will be in Ireland on the 19th of March.
