Training for the new season is now underway under the new coaching team and, at least for the immediate future, is 3 evenings a week at Hay Lodge Park. Be ready to go at 7 PM prompt. The President’s letter and membership forms for the coming season will shortly be dispatched to last season’s members. It is important for both the club and you that members renew before 1st September in order that the club can comply with the new Licensing Act. The form includes a CASC declaration for anyone that donates money over and above the membership dues, which must be signed. To see how CASC benefits both the club and members, there are now links to all the information from the club web site. Treasurer, Gerard Bony will be more than happy to explain in more detail if required. This year there will be an additional item in the membership pack. The club has agreed to include a “Spare Clare” pamphlet inviting you to sign up to the NHS Organ Donor Register. We hope that some of our members will sign up to this very important list, which is part of the Scottish Government’s “healthier Scotland” programme.. Purchasing international Tickets through our Ticket Secretary will benefit the club with the commission paid by the SRU, as well as getting you better tickets than can be obtained at the SRU ticket office. Please ensure Ian Caldwell has your latest contact details to receive regular email updates. The club can also benefit if members sign up to easysearch and search the web or buy on line. It’s that easy. Use the link on the web site to register and start earning for the club. Finally remember that club members and local voluntary organisations can book the club for functions subject to compliance with our policies and compliance with the licensing requirements.
