The CashBack for Communities rugby club facilities fund is now closed to applications.

The fund was created to help improve rugby club facilities in areas of greatest need across Scotland. A total of £1.25m was made available from April 2011 by way of a grant award scheme. sportscotland administer the award with decisions being recommended to Scottish Government Ministers by a panel consisting of Scottish Rugby, Scottish Government and sportscotland.

Approximately £550,000 was awarded in Round 1 to twelve projects.

Approximately £700k will be awarded in Round 2 with successful clubs being informed in May/June 2012
