ALLAN SELECTED FOR SCOTLAND UNDER-18 SQUAD PDF Print
Friday, 25 March 2011

Tommy Allan, whose uncle John played for both Scotland and South Africa as a hooker in the 1990s, has been named today in the Scotland under-18 squad for their meeting against Japan High Schools at Braidholm, Glasgow.

Allan, who plays stand-off or centre within London Wasps' youth set-up, qualifies for Scotland through his Glasgow born father, Will, who played provincial rugby in South Africa and professional rugby in Italy. The rugby pedigree also extends to his mother who played rugby for Italy.

Allan, educated at RGS High Wycombe, is listed in a 25-strong squad, which also includes the following Exiles Corey Venus (Leicester Tigers), Cameron Meakin (Ivybridge), Jonathan Matthews (Prince Henry’s Otley), Calum Yetman (London Irish), Will Bordill (Sandbach / Sale).
