MATCHDAY FAQS Parking Q: Can I park at the stadium? A: Yes, parking is available within Saughtonhall Car Park to the rear of the Murrayfield Ice Rink. This should be accessed via Saughtonhall Avenue. Parking is free and on a first come, first served basis. Q: I am disabled – can I park at the stadium? A: Yes. Blue badge holders will be accommodated on a first come first served basis in the South Car Park – please access via Gate B, Roseburn Street. Wheelchair users and those who have difficulty with mobility are advised to purchase their tickets from the Ticket office prior to their arrival at the car park. Tickets Q: I haven’t purchased tickets in advance – where can I buy them on the day? A: The Ticket office, located on Roseburn Street, will be selling tickets on match day. Adult tickets are £10 and Concessions (OAP, Student and U18) £5. Q: Do we get an allocated seat and can I sit with my friends? A: There are no allocated seats with the exception of team areas / staff and hospitality guests. These areas will be clearly marked. Everyone else is free to sit anywhere in the lower West stand. The women’s finals will be played on the back pitches and is standing only. Q: I want to bring along my 1 year old son? A: No problem, however we would remind you that this is a large event with loud music etc which may not be suitable for a child so young. Q: Does my 1 year old child need a match ticket? A: Children under 5 are admitted free of charge provided they sit on the parent’s knee. Q: I want to come along to watch the Women’s Cup Finals on the back pitches but not the Men’s Finals – do I need a ticket? A: Yes. For this event the back pitches fall under the stadium perimeter and are included in the overall event. Once you enter the stadium through the turnstiles you will be free to move between the back pitches and main stadium at your leisure. Q: I want to come along to the Cup Finals and then leave the stadium and return again later in the day? Is this possible? A: Yes. Pass in / outs will be available from both Gate A and next to the Car Park. Hand stamps will be applied and ticket stubs MUST be retained. Q: Since buying my ticket, my mobility has been affected. Who can I ask for assistance and what happens if I’m physically unable to get to the seat I have a ticket for? A: Seating is unreserved, however, if you are unable to find a suitable seat, please contact your nearest steward. We have a dedicated team within the stadium who will look after spectators with such difficulties. Access Arrangements / Stadium Facilities Q: How do I get into the stadium? A: Turnstiles will be open at the North and East of the stadium. Q: I have difficulty using a turnstile. A: Please contact a steward at the turnstile area who will happily assist with access through the nearest gate. Q: Can I bring a buggy into the stadium? A: No. There is no facility for buggies within the stadium. Q: Is there a crèche? A: No. Q: Will I be able to smoke in stadium? A: No. Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the stadium. Q: Can I bring an air horn? A: Yes however pressurised containers are not permitted but mechanised airhorns (blow through / wind up) are allowed. Q: Can I bring a camera? A: Yes, pocked sized cameras are permitted however large professional cameras are not. Q: Can I bring rucksacks or suitcases? A: No. Small backpacks are permitted however suitcases or larger items will be denied access. We assume no responsibility for baggage within the stadium. Q: If I feel unwell during the match, can I get help? A: Yes, we have a full medical team on duty for your safety and wellbeing, including first aid, paramedics and doctors. Please contact your nearest steward in the first instance. The First Aid room is located at ground level in the South West corner of the stadium. Q: What happens if I lose my bag, or some other piece of property within the stadium? A: At the time, contact your nearest steward or report to the Police Room (South / West corner of the stadium). ) Q: What do I do if my child is lost / if I see a lost child? A: Contact your nearest steward or report to the Police Room (South / West corner of the stadium), at the earliest. Food & Drink Q: Can I bring food into the stadium? A: There are catering outlets throughout the stadium and therefore there should be no requirement. Q: What happens if I have special dietary requirements? A: We will not stop anyone bringing food or drink into the stadium under these circumstances, providing that any soft drinks / water are in SEALED plastic bottles no larger than 500ml. Q: Can I bring juice into the stadium? A: Cans cannot be brought into the stadium as part of the stadium ground rules. However, a relaxation has been given to plastic bottles of soft drinks and water of up to 500ml. Please note: the lid must be sealed and intact. No alcohol will be permitted to be brought into the stadium. Q: Can I bring alcohol into the stadium? A: No. Q: Can you purchase alcohol in the stadium? A: Yes. The stadium is licensed and a range of Beers and Wines will be available for purchase. Drinks can be taken into the seating deck. Q: Will there be a beer tent? A: No. Alcohol units will be situated around the West side of the stadium and the Presidnet's Suite will be open as a public bar. Entertainment Q: What entertainment is planned for the day? A: We have no structured entertainment for the day however we would encourage bands etc to come along and play in the stands or throughout the stadium. We will however play music and have an announcer who will interact with the crowd. Q: Can I wear fancy dress? A: Yes – please do! Q: I would like an announcement made at half time for a birthday / proposal etc? A: No, we receive so many requests of this nature that we are unable to fulfil them all therefore our policy has to be that we make no such announcements.
