Glasgow Accies are delighted to announce the arrival of Elliott McLaren (above left) as player coach. He joining up with our current Head coach Ewan Smith (above right) to create what we believe will be a formidable coaching duo. So far, Elliott has had an outstanding career as a prop in the premiership, with Biggar and West of Scotland and has made several appearances for the Scottish Club XV. We are sure he will now make a major contribution to the development of the players and club.
Accies are an open and welcoming club and we believe in preparing and playing to the best of our ability and applying the same criteria to our social lives, so any player who is looking for a progressive and happy clib to join please contact Donald Reid at

We have a strong association with Glasgow Hawks and any player that feels he has the potential to play at a higher level but would like time to develop into it will be given every opportunity to do so within our development programme.
