Details of the warm-up games are now to hand – they are as follows – Saturday 6th August v Aberdeen GSFP at the Gytes ko 3:00 pm – it will be interesting to see if former Peebles RFC and Melrose winger Callum Anderson is included in the visitors squad. He has joined the Aberdeen club having secured a teaching post at Dyce.  Aberdeen also have ex Peebles Colt Callum Scott on their books – although his season last year was cut short by a serious injury.                                                                                                                       Thursday 11th August v Hawick at Mansfield Park ko 7:30 pm                         Thursday 18th August v Dumfries at Park Farm Dumfries ko 7:30 pm all support will be made welcome at any of these games.

The Colts have arranged a warm-up fixture with Dunbar at the Gytes on August 13th ko 3:00pm. 

The issuing of membership renewals is imminent, and members are asked to complete the form in order that we can keep an accurate up-to-date list. It is especially important for those who are making a donation to complete the gift aid section, including signing the declaration, as the club can reclaim the tax deemed to have been paid to the extent of 25p in the pound. At this time of year with the preparation for the season in full swing prompt payment would be appreciated as the club has extra bills to meet. Completed forms and payment can either be sent to John Swanson at the address shown on the top of the form or can be left behind the bar in the Eastgate Clubrooms.
 
The summer skills camp continues throughout July hosted by Peebles RFC DO George Blair. It is taking place throughout the month on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Hay Lodge Park. The timetable is Tuesdays 10am – 12noon P1 – P3 group, Tuesdays 1pm – 3pm P6 –P7 group and on Thursdays 10am – 12noon P4 – P5 group and from 1pm – 3pm S1 – S3 group, these will cost £2 per session.  A second camp will take place up at the High School and will be held on 8th and 9th August from 10am – 3pm both days – it will be open to all age groups from P1 – S2 and will cost £15 per player.
