The Brewin Dolphin Scottish Schools Cup exists to give young rugby players the opportunity to play, enjoy and compete in rugby matches for their school. The competition is run at two age levels – under-16 and under-18 – for boys and under-15 and under-18 for girls. Over two hundred schools have signed up to take part in 2011.
The competitions are structured to give schools the chance to face local opposition of a similar skill level, with teams given the chance to earn a place in national knock-out rounds and the opportunity to win the silverware on offer.
