Edinburgh Academy and High School of Dundee have secured their places in the Brewin Dolphin Scottish Schools under-18 and under-16 Cup semi-finals respectively.
However, the Dundee side went onto score four tries to secure the win: two from scrum-half Henry Sampson, one from open-side flanker Christopher Jollands and another from captain Duncan Leese who also added two conversions to their tally, 24-14. They now travel to George Watson’s College in the semi-final stage of the competition. Graeme Merry, Under-16 head coach for High School of Dundee, said: “Whilst it wasn’t our best game of the season it was certainly the most challenging. It was a real wake-up call for us and we’ve work to do before meeting George Watson’s College in the semi-final but we’re looking forward to it.” Under-18 semi-final: Under-16 semi-final: |
