Across Scotland it’s often the people out of the spotlight that make the real difference to a club! Those that look after the catering or who mark the pitches or the mini and midi coaches that make sure the next generation of players get the attention and support they need. It’s the tireless efforts of these people that we want to reward through this accolade.
NOMINATING All you need to do to nominate your club hero for RBS Club Volunteer of the Month is CLICK HERE and fill in the form. Nominations for the award will be taken up until the last day of the month. THE JUDGING PANEL Each month a selection panel from Scottish Rugby and RBS will view each of the nominations and decide on the winner of the RBS Try of the Month. The winner will then be confirmed by Scottish Rugby’s President, Ian McLauchlan. THE PRIZE Each winner of RBS Club Volunteer of the Month will be invited to Murrayfield – with NINE of his or her friends – to attend the annual Scottish Rugby Club Awards Dinner, on Friday 25 May 2012. The winner will also receive up to £500 towards travel and accommodation to enable them to attend the dinner! At the Awards Dinner, each of the winners of RBS Club Volunteer of the Month will be in with a chance of winning the RBS Club Volunteer of the Season Award which will be announced on the night. The winner of the Annual award will receive a £1,000 grant for their club.
