Glasgow Extended U16 Squad 2011-12 |

The following players have been invited to take part in the Glasgow U16 program for 2011-12. The players have been selected from their performances at the KNTs skill camps in April, their performance during the local U16 pathway program in August and through their consistent performances for their clubs and schools. A final squad of 23 players will then be selected for the National Identification fixture against Caledonia on Wednesday 7th March. There will be a further ‘pro alignment’ fixture on the 14th March where combined sides made up from Glasgow and Caledonia will play as ‘Glasgow Warriors’ against ‘Edinburgh Rugby’ which will be made up of players form Edinburgh and Borders regions. These two rounds of games will act as National Selection Fixtures to help select the Scotland under 16 Development Squad to prepare and then play in the international Wellington Festival at the end of March 2012.
