Terms and Conditions for “Pro-Team Ticket Promotion 2009”


1. This promotion is open to UK residents. Applicants must have purchased and retained a ticket with a face value of £20.00 or over for adults, or £10.00 or over for concessions, for one of the following 2009 Autumn Test rugby matches: Scotland v Fiji on 14 November 2009;  Scotland v Australia on 21 November; or  Scotland v Argentina on 28 November
Your Autumn Test ticket must be retained as you will require unique information from your Autumn Test ticket to claim your promotional ticket. Scottish Rugby reserves the right to verify the eligibility of applicants.

2. All applicants making an application to Scottish Rugby in accordance with these terms and conditions on or before the closing date will receive one free ticket to a 2009/2010 season Magners League rugby match, played in Edinburgh or Glasgow. No preferences for specific matches can be accepted. Tickets will be allocated as follows:
(a) The first 60,000 tickets allocated (determined by the date that applications are received by Scottish Rugby) will be allocated to the Magners League match between Edinburgh and Glasgow Warriors to be played during the Festive Season at Murrayfield; and
(b) Any further tickets will be allocated in respect of another 2009/2010 season Magners League rugby match, played in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.
A list of all Magners League matches is available to view HERE. The promotion does not include travel to a match, accommodation, or any other entitlement at or connected to the match.
3. The promotional Magners League ticket issued will correspond to the Autumn Test ticket purchased (i.e. where a concession ticket has been purchased for an Autumn Test match, a concession ticket will be allocated for the Magners League match). Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.

4. Scottish Rugby does not commit to allocating any particular seat or location for the Magners League match.

5. Scottish Rugby will not be responsible for any change of date, venue or cancellation of a match, and Scottish Rugby will not be responsible for any inability of any applicant to take up the ticket provided.

6. Tickets for Magners League rugby matches are subject to standard terms and conditions of issue, which can be viewed HERE. Ticket-holders must comply with the ground rules on display at the stadium.

7. The promotion will be open for applications from Monday 12 October 2009.

8. To make your application (from 12 October) complete the application form available at the scottishrugby.org website. The application form must be submitted online to Scottish Rugby . The application form requires you to provide information including unique details which are printed on your Autumn Test ticket, and your contact details, including a valid postal and email address. By making your application to the promotion, you are deemed to have read and accepted these terms and conditions.

9. The closing date for applications is midnight ( GMT ) on Saturday 5 December 2009 ("Closing Date"). Applications received after the Closing Date will not be eligible to receive a promotional ticket. Only one application per person (even if more than one Autumn Test ticket is purchased). No third party applications, bulk applications or applications submitted by agents will be accepted.

10. Scottish Rugby will notify each applicant of the match for which it has allocated a ticket by Tuesday 22 December 2009. The relevant ticket will be sent to each applicant by Tuesday 22 December 2009.

11. No cash alternative. Scottish Rugby reserves the right to provide a substitute promotional item of similar value should the specified promotional item become unavailable for reasons beyond its control.

12. Applications that are illegible, incomplete, defaced or damaged will be deemed invalid. Scottish Rugby accepts no responsibility for applications which are lost, delayed or damaged in transmission, or for tickets which are lost, delayed or damaged in the post. Scottish Rugby 's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

13. This promotion is governed by Scots law.
