SCRUMS Management System

CDMS to SCRUMS switch over

Scottish Rugby are switching from using the current player registration system, CDMS, to using SCRUMS (Scottish Rugby Management System) at the end of the current season.

We are planning to activate the SCRUMS system on Monday 28 May 2018.

Clubs/schools should continue to use CDMS as normal to manage player registrations until the end of the current season. The plan is to de-activate CDMS on Monday 14 May 2018 and there will then be a two-week period where neither system is available. This will enable an accurate and efficient transfer of data between the systems.

In advance of Monday 28 May, Scottish Rugby would like all clubs and schools to nominate a designated SCRUMS Liaison – this should be someone who is familiar with the player registration process (i.e. the current Data Manager or Player Registration Coordinator) and ideally, who will also be performing that role in SCRUMS during season 2018-19.

Please can clubs/schools email [email protected] to let us know who their designated SCRUMS liaison person will be, providing name, role at club/school and email address.

Training & Support

  • Training resources will be made available ahead of the 28 May activation date. These will include a user guide and short video tutorials demonstrating the main tasks to be completed in SCRUMS.
  • Additional support will be offered to clubs/schools if required.

Please contact the SCRUMS team at [email protected] with any questions.
