Season 2014 / 2015


Edinburgh Rugby are currently recruiting for work place students for season 2014 / 2015 within the Performance Analysis department.

This is an exciting opportunity for College / University students or even those who are in full or part time employment to come in and assist with Performance Analysis duties on a flexible basis.


The Role:

-  Filming training & Capture of training and games set by Performance Analyst

-  To learn and code training using analysis software

-  Work on mini projects reporting back on general areas of the game and training

-  Develop your skills set in other areas of Performance Analysis as required by Edinburgh Rugby


The Person:

-  Have an interest in Rugby Union

-  Be computer literate, ideally with Apple Mac’s but not essential as analysis software is run on Apple Macs. Familiar with Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Dropbox, We Transfer, internet research engines, Pages, Numbers, Keynote etc etc

-  Willingness to be flexible with time and on location of training and games as sometimes location changes and be able to cover games on weekends throughout the season.

-  Good time keeping

-  Must be enthusiastic, reliable and willing to learn Performance Analysis.

-  Develop your skill set in Analysis software

-  Performance related the opportunity to work with National Representatives at all levels and ages.


There will be a meet and greet evening on June 18 at Murrayfiled (more details to follow) for a more detailed evening of the role and what is expected and the chance to meet you. Attendance is not essential due to it being summer holidays for many.
