Scottish Rugby's regional academies provide the best environment for young Scottish players to develop their skills, disciplines, knowledge and attitudes to achieve their full rugby playing potential.
Performance Pathway
The National Player Pathway programme identifies our most talented young players, develops their skills and helps them to prepare for Scottish Rugby’s National Academy, or a contract with Scottish Rugby.
Elite Development Programme
Elite development players continue to play at their home clubs, when appropriate, but train as professional athletes with Scotland 7s, Edinburgh Rugby or Glasgow Warriors.
Scottish Exiles
If you're a player living outside Scotland and are of Scottish descent, Scottish Exiles could be your route to internaional rugby.
