Stuart Hogg

Stuart Hogg is a talented back who is among the brightest prospects in the British game. His electric PRO12 and European Cup displays in season 2011/12 saw him quickly progress from a Scottish Rugby Elite Development deal to a long-term professional contract.

In May 2012, he was voted Young Player of the Year for the whole of the PRO12, shortly after being named Warriors Young Player of the Season and Players' Young Player of the Season.

If anything, his form got even better as the season drew to a close, with a stunning hat-trick away to reigning PRO12 champions Munster and another score in the sem-final against Leinster.

Comfortable at full-back, centre and stand-off, Stuart has represented Scotland at under-17, under-18 and under-20 level having played for Borders under-16s and under-17s. Before signing his first professional contract, with Glasgow Warriors, he played for Hawick Wanderers, Hawick and Heriot's.

Hogg is a regular for Scotland and featured in the British and Irish Lions tour of Australia in 2013, signing a new two-year contract in 2014.
