Tim Swinson

Tim Swinson joined the Warriors from Newcastle Falcons, where he was named Player of the Season in 2011.

He played almost 100 Premiership games in the boiler house and qualifies for Scotland courtesy of a maternal grandmother from Glasgow.

He was first called in the Scotland squad for their summer tour to South Africa in 2013 and was named most improved player on the tour by the Scotland management who were pleased with the bristling aggression he brought to his international matches against both South Africa and Italy.

In season 2012/13 Swinson added try-scoring to his usual mix of bite and aggression in the pack, scoring a double against in the Dragons in the record breaking win at Rodney Parade and following that up with a third in two games against Ulster.

The second-row was a key member of the Glasgow Warriors squad that claimed their first Guinness PRO12 title in 2015.

He was named man-of-the-match in the club's historic 43-0 victory over Leicester Tigers in the European Rugby Champions Cup, scoring one of Glasgow's six tries.
