Scotland 7s' Emirates Airline Glasgow 7s campaign ended in the Bowl semi-finals this afternoon, after losing out to Kenya 24-19.
The Scots left themselves with an uphill battle in the second-half going in at the break 17-0 down. However, a spirited second period, that saw tries coming from Lee Jones, Alex Glashan and Byron McGuigan, wasn't enough to qualify for the final.
For Kenya, Felix Ayange scored a brace and Andrew Amonde and Willy Ambaka also featured on the scoreboard. Biko Adema added two conversions.
Scotland 7s head coach, Stephen Gemmell, said: "You have to hold onto the ball and compete at the breakdwon to win games, but we switched-off on the floor and were punished for it.
"In sevens you have to be technically spot on everytime, but when we were on the front foot we didn't finish the job at key moments.
"We now have to regroup, as preparations for next weekend start now."
