NatWest 6 Nations Matchday FAQs

Everything you need to know if you are attending the NatWest 6 Nations fixtures at BT Murrayfield, as Scotland face France and England at the home of Scottish Rugby.

Scotland v England, Saturday 24 February 4:45pm

IMPORTANT NEW BAG POLICY!

Since November 2017 Scottish Rugby has operated a ‘small bags only’ policy for major events at BT Murrayfield in line with the current national security status. The policy remains in effect at the forthcoming 2018 NatWest 6 Nations matches against France and England and will be applied by our matchday stewards. The small bags policy is not in response to any specific threats, rather it is a result of our ongoing management of security which focuses on keeping BT Murrayfield a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

Details of the policy were mailed to all purchasers along with their 2018 NatWest 6 Nations tickets. As a reminder, ticket holders will only be allowed to enter the stadium with bags up to A5 size, equivalent to a small clutch bag (measuring 21cm x 14cm x 8cm). Bags larger than this will not be allowed into the stadium. The only exceptions to this rule are spectators who require to carry bags larger than A5 size for health reasons, including parents with young children who require to carry medical/dietary items. Anyone with such requirement should access the stadium via either:

a.       the hospitality turnstile next to the Main Gatehouse on Roseburn Street, or
b.       at the hospitality turnstile adjacent to the disabled gate at the North Stand turnstiles.

All bags will be searched before tickets are scanned.

If you do not have health or childcare requirements, please leave your bags at home/in your hotel/in your car/on the coach. Alternatively, there are several bag-drop/left luggage facilities across Edinburgh, some of which are linked below:

·         City Stasher

·         Edinburgh Waverley Left Luggage

·         Edinburgh Airport
