Glenn Metcalfe Returns To Face Edinburgh

Glenn Metcalfe resumes at full back in the Glasgow team for the Virgins Trains Cup and Welsh/Scottish League match against Edinburgh at Hughenden on Wednesday. It will be his first game since his knee injury in training before Scotland's international against Argentina more than five weeks ago.His comeback is among six changes in personnel following Glasgow's 16-35 defeat at Caerphilly on Saturday. Four of his fellow caps - Andy Nicol, Andy Henderson, Gordon Simpson, and David Hilton - also return to the starting line-up, as does Steve Griffiths. Simpson, Griffiths, and Hilton all played as replacements against Caerphilly, and Nicol also was on the bench.With Metcalfe's reappearance, Rory Kerr switches from full back to wing in place of Alan Bulloch.
