Neath edged past foot-of-the-table Caerphilly by only 38-33 at The Gnoll, though the visitors scored five tries to four, whereas Swansea inflicted a 35-9 defeat on Llanelli at St Helens.Llanelli, however, remained at the top of the league, three points ahead of Newport, who had a 35-25 win at home against Ebbw Vale.
