Hawks Draft Four Glasgow Players

Glasgow Hawks have drafted four Glasgow professional players, including Kenny Sinclair, for the new Integrated Tournament. Four other Glasgow players head north to Aberdeen Grammar School FP.Sinclair is no stranger to Hawks" colours as the scrum half has been a regular in the Old Anniesland club's BT Premiership team this season. He is now joined in the draft from Glasgow's contracted ranks by Ian McInroy, Cameron Blades, and Andrew Kelly as well as Alastair Davidson, the Borders" lock.Blades, the former Australian international prop, had originally been drafted by Heriot's. However, he has swapped places with Paul Thomson, the Borders prop, who will now be at Goldenacre for the Integrated Tournament.Aberdeen Grammar have drafted Tommy Hayes, Michael Bartlett, Andrew Wilson, and Rory McKay. Wilson played for the Rubislaw club before he signed for Glasgow last summer.Andy Nicol, Glasgow's captain, has gone to Stirling County. So have Joe Naufahu and Roland Reid. Jon Steel will be with Jed-Forest, Rory Kerr with Hawick, Alan Bulloch and Lee Harrison with Melrose, Barry Irving with Currie, Ben Daly with Heriot's, and Chris Black with Boroughmuir. Of the 10 Premier One clubs, only Peebles have not taken a Glasgow player.Hawks will be at home to Melrose on the first day of the new tournament, a week tomorrow.
