Matt Proudfoot Returns For European Match

Matt Proudfoot returns to the Glasgow pack for the Parker Pen Challenge Cup second-round first-leg match against Saracens at Vicarage Road, Watford, on Sunday. The Scotland prop has been absence since the Celtic Cup semi-final against Ulster on 14 November because of a calf injury.Proudfoot replaces the injured Lee Harrison as tight-had prop, the only change from the team who started the Celtic League match that Glasgow lost to Edinburgh by 25-16 at Hughenden a week past Saturday.Glenn Metcalfe and Joe Beardshaw, like Harrison, are unavailable because of injury, and Scott Lawson, Gordon Bulloch's understudy as hooker, has been rested. Simon Gunn, Rory McKay, and Andrew Wilson return to the squad as replacements. Like Proudfoot, they have not appeared in the squad since November, though all three have been playing in club rugby in the interim.Sunday's European match will kick off at 3.00pm.
