Glasgow Rugby Awards Nominations

Glasgow Hawks, the newly crowned Scottish champions, and three of their players, Mark Sitch, Stephen Duffy, and Stephen Biggart, have been nominated for Glasgow Rugby Awards. Hawks are in line for the Club of the Year award along with Glasgow Academicals and Dumfries.Duffy and Sitch have been listed along with Damien Kelly and Michael Goldie, both from Ayr, and James Noonan, of Glasgow Hutchesons" Aloysians, for the Premiership Player of the Year trophy.Scrum half Biggart is among five Scotland Under-19 international players listed for the Young Player of the Year title. The others are the GHA pair, Iain Kennedy and James Eddie, and two Hillhead/Jordanhill props, Robert Agnew and Willie Brown.Winners of the trophies will be announced at the Glasgow Rugby Awards Dinner at the Glasgow Thistle Hotel on Sunday 18 April.
