Four Scotland Caps Return For Glasgow

Four Scotland caps will be playing in Dublin for the second successive weekend, hoping for a better result at Donnybrook tomorrow than the international defeat at Lansdowne Road last Saturday. Gordon Bulloch, Jon Petrie, Dan Parks, and Andrew Henderson, straight from international action, return to the Glasgow team for the Celtic League match against Leinster Lions. However, their international colleague, Cammie Mather, Glasgow's captain, has not yet recovered from the shoulder/chest injury that kept him out of the Scotland team against Ireland. Petrie again assumes the captaincy.Sam Pinder also is unavailable. An ankle injury forced his retirement from the Hughenden game against Munster at half-time last Friday. Roland Reid, following a sojourn in South Africa, also returns to the Glasgow team. So do Graeme Beveridge, David Millard, and Andy Hall, making a total of eight changes from the XV who started in the league match that Glasgow lost against Munster by 12-37 at Hughenden last Friday. Beveridge and Hall, however, played as second-half substitutes in that match.Bulloch is in for Simon Gunn as hooker, Hall for Joe Beardshaw at lock, Petrie for Rory McKay at No.8, Reid for Andrew Wilson at blind side, Beveridge for Pinder at scrum half, Parks for Calvin Howarth at stand-off, Henderson for Alan Bulloch at inside centre, and Millard for Rory Kerr on the right wing. Kerr has been rested, allowing Millard to make only his fourth start in the competitive season.Mark McMillan returns to the squad as back-up scrum half after duties with Scotland's under-21 team. He has recovered from the ankle injury that caused him to miss last Friday's under-21 international against the Irish.Tomorrow's Donnybrook match will kick off at 7.30pm.
