Glasgow In Meadowbank Double-Header

Meadowbank will be staging a Glasgow-Edinburgh double-header on Friday 7 May. Not only will the two professional teams meet each other in a Celtic League match there, but also the two districts will combine in a composite under-20 XV for a curtain-raiser against their contemporaries from the Scottish Exiles.Come early to Meadowbank that evening to support the Glasgow boys and their Edinburgh friends before the "big "uns" take over. The kick-off in the under-20 match will be at 5.00pm, with the Celtic League game following at 7.30.Meadowbank's warm-up game is a follow-on from the district under-20 championship matches to be played at Murrayfield next week, beginning with Edinburgh v Borders on Wednesday 28 April (kick-off 6.00pm). That same evening, kicking off at 7.30, Glasgow open their defence of the under-20 title with a game against Caledonia.Winners of the two Wednesday matches will contest the championship final at Murrayfield on Sunday 2 May (2.00pm).
