Australians First To Arrive In Glasgow For U21 World Championship

IRB Under-21 World Championship squads started to arrive in Scotland today. The Australians were the first to arrive, flying into Glasgow Airport this morning, and they were followed less than two hours later by the Tongans.Minister for Culture, Sport and Tourism Frank McAveety was among those welcoming the Australians to Glasgow. So was Bill Nolan, Scottish representative on the IRB and Glasgow Rugby chairman, along with vice-chairman Archie Ferguson.Both countries open their championship programmes on Friday at Glasgow Academicals" ground, New Anniesland.
