Glasgow'S Heineken Cup Matches On Sundays

Glasgow's two Heineken Cup matches at home in the first half of the season will be played on Sundays.Their European programme will open against Northampton Saints at Hughenden on 24 October. Their other pre-Christmas home match will be against Llanelli Scarlets on Sunday 5 December. Both matches will kick off at 1.00pm.Inside less than a week Glasgow will have to play against two former Heineken Cup winners. Only five days after the match against Northampton, who won the trophy in 2000, Glasgow will be in France to play against Toulouse, the 1996 and 2003 winners who were beaten by London Wasps in last season's final. That Friday night match will kick off at 8.30 French time (7.30 BST).Glasgow's other pre-Christmas match in Europe will be against Llanelli Scarlets, defending champions in the Celtic League. That Stradey Park game, too, will be on a Sunday (12 December), also with a 1.00pm kick-off.All four games will be broadcast live on Sky television.
