Dan Turner'S First Celtic League Start

Dan Turner will make his first Celtic League start for Glasgow in the Inter-City match against Edinburgh at Old Anniesland tomorrow evening. The recent recruit from Canterbury made his league debut as a replacement in the Galway game against Connacht two weeks ago.Three changes have been made in the team who started in the 10-7 win against The Borders at Melrose last week. Andrew Hall, a replacement last week, and Rory Kerr return to the starting line-up. Kerr comes in on the right wing in place of Kenny Logan, who is on the replacements" bench, whereas Hall and Turner take over from the injured locks, Joe Beardshaw and Nathan Ross. Beardshaw has a damaged hand, and Ross has a knee injury.Tomorrow's Inter-City match is the 141st in a series that began in 1872. Edinburgh have won 70 of the previous matches, Glasgow will be seeking their 50th victory, and 21 games have been drawn.As the second leg of an appealing double-header, the Inter-City will kick off at 7.30pm.
