Three Tries For Andy Craig

Andy Craig, the Scotland international centre, scored three of the Glasgow Development team's six tries in the 36-7 win against Sale Jets at Stockport this afternoon. Rory Lamont, younger brother of Scotland cap Sean, had two of the other tries.Shawn Renwick, Stirling County's No.8, opened the scoring after five minutes. Calvin Howarth converted, but Sale responded with a try converted by David Blair, younger brother of the Scotland scrum half, Mike.Lamont restored Glasgow's lead in 20 minutes, and Craig then had three in a row, taking the visitors to 29-7 after seven minutes of the second half. Lamont finished off the scoring on the hour.Howarth converted to Craig's second.
