Today’s public sale of tickets for Scotland’s RBS 6 Nations home matches saw almost five thousand tickets sold in the first hour of business.

The final batch of tickets for Scotland’s match against Ireland (Murrayfield, Saturday 10 March) was snapped up by callers, web buyers and those braving the cold - with duvets, sleeping bags and all - in the Murrayfield Ticket Centre queue, meaning that the fixture against Ireland is now completely sold out.

A very limited number of tickets remain available for the Scotland v Wales match at Murrayfield on Saturday 10 February (kick-off 3.30pm). The tickets, priced at £45 and £60 for adults and £22.50 and £30 for children, are available via the credit card hotline (0131 346 5100) or via the Scottish Rugby website (www.scottishrugby.org).

This means that if fans want to see Scotland play at the home of Scottish rugby, Murrayfield Stadium, in the 2007 RBS 6 Nations, their main chance now is to get their hands on a ticket for the match against Italy on Saturday 24 February (kick-off 3pm).

They are priced at £20, £30 and £40 for adults and £10, £15 and £20 for students and under-18s and are available via the same methods as above.

Please note a booking fee applies to all credit card transactions and that the Ticket Centre is open from 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
