Supporters should note the following important information with regards to the game:
Tickets are NOT available on the day of the game.
Tickets must be purchased by 8pm tonight (Friday) either from Scottish Rugby or Hearts.
All tickets purchased since Tuesday should be collected from the point of sale – either Scottish Rugby or Hearts, however if supporters wish to pick up tickets on Saturday, it can only be done from the Scottish Rugby Ticket Centre before 12 noon.
There are NO ticket collections from Hearts on Saturday.
Supporters are advised to pick up tickets as early as possible, to avoid heavy queuing at Murrayfield on match day. Supporters in queues should follow the instructions of Scottish Rugby staff, stewards and police.
Parking for cars
There is no public parking at Murrayfield Stadium on Saturday. Police and traffic wardens will be patrolling the streets around the stadium and will strictly enforce parking regulations. Supporters are advised to make use of public transport.
Parking for supporters’ coaches
Hearts supporters’ coaches should park in the normal place for games at Tynecastle along at the Balgreen end of Gorgie Road.
A music festival is taking place in Edinburgh’s Grassmarket. Supporters are advised to avoid that area when travelling to the game.
The Forth Bridge is closed to all rail traffic on Saturday as part of a railway maintenance programme. This will result in longer journey via First Scotrail shuttle buses.
There are currently no other reported traffic problems on Saturday, on either motorways or A roads in and around Edinburgh, however this is always subject to change.
Arriving at Murrayfield Stadium
An extremely large crowd is expected for this game.
Turnstiles will open at 2pm – two hours before the game. Supporters should arrive as early as possible and should be seated at least 30 minutes prior to kick off.
Supporters are advised that they may access the stadium via any turnstile. A large number of turnstiles will be open at all entrance areas. Supporters are asked to enter the stadium from the direction that they have travelled from.
Each supporter has been allocated a specific seat, and it is particularly important that supporters use the seat identified on their ticket. Stewards, who will be dressed in yellow jackets, will be able to assist supporters.
Catering outlets will be open from 2pm within Murrayfield Stadium serving a range of fast food and refreshments!
Match day entertainment
120 children will take part in a special Heart of Midlothian Education and Community Trust coaching session on the international pitch at Murrayfield from 2pm.
Shortly before the team arrives on the pitch there will be a brief pre-match ceremony based on the theme of Barcelona. This will involve live music, flag bearers and flares.
After the game
Supporters are asked to leave the stadium and its environs, taking time when walking through concourses and down staircases.
