The Scotland squad flies into Edinburgh from France on Sunday afternoon (16 September) for the Murrayfield leg of their Rugby World Cup campaign. The squad would be delighted to see supporters at Edinburgh Airport when they arrive ahead of their match against Romania. Their flight from St Etienne is due in at 12.10pm.
The Scots were welcomed by dozens of children when they landed in France at the start of the World Cup, and coach Frank Hadden said: "We were bowled over by the reception awaiting us at St Etienne airport last week. I'm sure the players would really appreciate it if we had a similar welcome when we return to Edinburgh Airport on Sunday."
Captain Jason White added: "Put on your Scotland jersey, and come along to the airport on Sunday. We'll be pleased to see you all."
Scotland began their World Cup campaign with a 56-10 victory over Portugal in St Etienne last Sunday. Their next game will be against Romania at Murrayfield on Tuesday (kick-off 8pm).
Scotland's team for that match will be announced mid-afternoon on Sunday.
Tickets for Scotland v Romania are still available for as little as £9 and can be purchased via the Murrayfield ticket centre by calling 0131 346 5100 or www.scottishrugby.org or in person from the ticket centre.
Supporters are reminded that this game is not live on STV. The broadcast will be only on digital ITV4. So come along to Murrayfield on Tuesday and back Scotland in their first home match of the Rugby World Cup.
