Dan Landels, the Hawick back-row forward and Neil Dymock, the Dundee HSFP prop, have been suspended by Scottish Rugby’s Discipline Panel after their dismissal in a Scottish Hydro Electric Premier Division 1 match earlier this month.

The pair were sent off for fighting during the match between the clubs at Mansfield Park, Hawick on Saturday 3 November.

The panel considered written submissions from both players and viewed DVDs from both clubs in reaching its decision.

Dymock, who had a previously unblemished disciplinary record and who apologised to the panel for his conduct, was suspended for one week and is therefore free to resume playing. Landels, who had been sent-off once before, was suspended for six weeks up to and including Saturday 15 December.

Glasgow Warriors prop Michael Collins was suspended for one week after being dismissed for punching in a match against Leeds Carnegie on Monday 5 November and he is also free to resume playing.

It was the first time Collins had been sent off in his career and the panel received a letter in his support from the Leeds club.
