Scotland and Edinburgh rugby star Allister Hogg will be swapping rucks and mauls for the catwalk this Saturday (24 November) when he is the special guest at the John Lewis fashion show being held at the St. James Centre.
The 26-year-old became the first Scotland forward in 20 years to score a hat-trick of tries when he scored a treble in the World Cup win over Romania at Murrayfield and he is also Edinburgh Rugby Club's first team captain.
But the highly-rated player is currently sidelined because of a rib injury and, as a result, has decided to switch his attention to the fashion world as he helps to promote the exciting event at the department store.
The show is being staged on level three (Ladieswear) and Hogg, tipped to be a future Scotland captain, will be strutting his stuff in nightwear, casual, formal and day wear - his modelling exploits could make him Scottish rugby's answer to David Beckham.
The first show kicks off at 1.30pm whole the second show starts at 2.30pm, so make sure you can attend and cheer on, or alternatively revel in his embarrassment, as one of Edinburgh's premier sportsmen becomes a mannequin for the day.
