After successful Match Day Coaching Clinics in the first few games of this season, Edinburgh Rugby Club are organising several more clinics for this coming season.

Your club/school has the opportunity to take up this superb offer of taking part in the Match Day Coaching Clinics, which will take place on the back pitches at Murrayfield Stadium. Several clubs had a great time at the clinics bringing their whole mini section or whole S1, S2 squad, which created an affinity with Edinburgh and gave a really good boost to all the participants. Individuals can also attend the clinics.
The clinic will start at 5pm where your group will be met and welcomed, (all participants should assemble at the Murrayfield Wanderers Club House) then directed where to change and given details of the evenings programme. The clinic will last for approximately 1_ hours and include a variety of games and skills, led by qualified, disclosed Edinburgh Community coaches. Professional players will join in assisting with the coaching, playing in some of the games and practices. All participants will then have an opportunity to get autographs and speak to the players. One player will be chosen to be the Edinburgh Rugby Club mascot for the game.
The clinic is aimed at youngsters between P4 and S2 and as places will be limited, booking early is recommended. The clinic cost is _25 per player.

Organisation of the clinics is being carried out by Colin Ireland who has sixteen years experience as Development officer, and then Rugby Development Manger with the SRU. Colin now specialises in the development of sport for youngsters and adults in several areas throughout Scotland.

Bookings should be made at the latest a week prior to the fixture you wish to attend. Should parents/guardians wish to attend, tickets can be purchased via the website www.sru.org.uk and click on Edinburgh, or call 0131 346 5180. Tickets can also be purchased on the evening at the ground. Seating is open so parents and coaches can sit beside their children/players.
