Time For The Italian Job

Head coach Peter Wright today announced the Scotland U19 squad to face their Italian counterparts next Saturday.  Scottish Rugby's young stars will travel to Parabiago, Milan looking to avenge last year’s 13-19 home defeat at The Greenyards. The game is also Scotland U19s first fixture since last year’s Junior World Championship. Scotland U19 finished tenth at the tournament but having finished each of their pool games within a single score of victory the margins between success and failure could not have been closer.

Looking forward to the game Wright said: "Preparations have been very positive, all the players have improved from the U18 level. It should be a good test for the team against what is usually a very powerful Italian side."

The match will take place on Saturday 23 February; kick-off 12 noon (local time).
