Scotland players Jason White and Allister Hogg were at Murrayfield today (Monday) to celebrate the news that Land Rover have announced a three-year extension to a substantial, six-figure agreement that sees the company remain as the official sponsor of the Scotland Rugby Supporters Club.

This will be the third period of sponsorship that Land Rover has entered into, making them one of Scottish Rugby's most loyal supporters.

Gordon McKie, chief executive of Scottish Rugby, thanked Land Rover for their display of loyalty and said: "We are delighted that Land Rover and the Scottish Dealers have joined together to continue working with the Scottish Rugby Supporters Club.

Our Supporters Club has steadily grown its membership since its re-launch in January 2007, and the support from Land Rover throughout has allowed us to continue to work with our loyal supporters."

Eric Redpath, Regional Business Manager for Land Rover, said: _x001C_All of the Land Rover dealers across Scotland enjoy the association we have with Scottish Rugby. This sponsorship is strategically important for the Land Rover brand and over the next three years we are planning to develop stronger links not only with the Supporters' Club but with grassroots rugby as well._x001D_

Scotland players Jason White and Allister Hogg appeared at Murrayfield Stadium alongside the Land Rover Discovery 3, taking time out from their Calcutta Cup preparations to thank Land Rover for their ongoing backing.

On Saturday at Murrayfield Stadium, Scotland supporters will be able to visit the Land Rover display on the East Stand to take part in a 'Range Rover Scalextric challenge', while also having the opportunity to enter a competition to win an off-roading experience with members of the Scotland team at the Land Rover Experience centre in Dunkeld, Perthshire.

Land Rover Scottish Dealers have supported Scottish Rugby since 2003. Membership costs just £35 for adults members, and junior membership is free.
