Book 1872 Cup Tickets Early - Present Trophy

ImageEdinburgh supporters are being given the chance to win the opportunity to present the 1872 Challenge Cup to the captain of the winning team when Andy Robinson's black and red army march across the M8 to take on inter-city rivals Glasgow Warriors (Friday, 11 April, kick off 8pm).

To be in with a chance of being the lucky fan, supporters must pre-purchase their match tickets before 5pm on Friday (28 March). All those who pre-purchase their tickets after this time will not be entered into the draw.
Get your hands on the Cup, like stalwart Allan Jacobsen, before it returns back to the east coast and Edinburgh's trophy cabinet. Edinburgh season ticket holders have all been automatically entered into the competition.

Tickets for the game are priced at _15 for adults and _5 for concessions and can be purchased by calling 0131 346 5180 or by clicking here.

Kick-off for this game is 8pm to allow supporters more time to reach the venue.

The oldest inter-city club rugby game in the world, the 1872 Challenge Cup is contested over the two Magners League meetings between Glasgow and Edinburgh.
