The Scotland 7s team posted their second ever win over Wales to progress through to the Bowl semi-finals in Adelaide this morning. The Scots went a try down in the opening minutes before Colin Shaw touched down. Ali Warnock converted.

The Scotland 7s team posted their second ever win over Wales to progress through to the Bowl semi-finals in Adelaide this morning. The Scots went a try down in the opening minutes before Colin Shaw touched down. Ali Warnock converted.

Warnock then added a try to his tally before Wales struck back to level the score. However, captain Scott Forrest had the final word and sealed the win with the last touch of the ball.

Scotland 7s coach Stephen Gemmell said: "It's a positive result. The USA have just beaten England so we'll face them in the semi-finals."
