Season Ticket Sales Continue To Warm Up

ImageEdinburgh summer signing Chris Paterson is on course to become Scotland's most capped internationalist should he feature in back-to-back Tests against Argentina this month. But it looks as if last season's season ticket record of 1020 could be broken before then after sales reached over 900 and Paterson took time out from his preparation work to show he is "In".

Paterson could possibly overtake former Edinburgh forward Scott Murray's record by reaching 87 caps after playing in the first Test in Rosario on Saturday 7 June and also on Saturday 14 June in Buenos Aires.

Nevertheless Paterson, who has 149 appearances in the black and red jersey of Edinburgh, showed off his "I"m In" certificate " the same one that season ticket holders are awarded once they"ve signed up " and says he is genuinely excited by the response by the Edinburgh rugby public.

Paterson said: "It is really encouraging to see the amount of season tickets sold so far, especially because the new season doesn't start until September. I"m really excited about coming back to play for Edinburgh again and it should be a really positive season."
