The children won the coaching session at the Glasgow 'Choices for Life 2008',part of a nation wide event to empower primary 7 pupils to make healthy lifestyle choices and to resist peer group pressure as they move from primary school to secondary school.

The session, led by Alan Lynch an_SVQ student from Dalziel RFC, began with a game of 'Toilet Tag' to get everyone warmed up!_Four pupils were chosen as catchers who had to 'tag' their classmates. Tagged players then had to free in a toilet position until they had been "flushed" which_caused a lot of laughter amongst the class!

Hef and Jon then took the children through some passing drills with six teams of three racing against each other to complete the moves first. This was followed by a game of 'Follow the Leader' with the children working together to score a try- Hefin was certainly kept on his toes by his energetic and enthusiastic partner!

The class were then split into two teams with Jon leading the blue team and Hef the green team. Both teams had a team talk to plan their tactics_to inspire them to victory then the game began!

This proved to be a closely fought battle with lots of good tries scored by each team! The game eventually ended in a draw with maximum effort put in by each team and lots of fun had by all.

The Warriors hope to visit Glen Cairn Primary soon and wish all the Primary 7 pupils good luck at their new school!
